We are delighted to announce the inaugural workshop dedicated entirely to hexagonal boron nitride. Over the last few years this community has grown immensely, and hBN has become a material of choice for applications spanning electronics, polaritonics, lighting, imaging, quantum, biology, materials science and theory. We hence decided the time is ripe to organise a focused workshop dedicated entirely to hBN.

From May 29th 2023 till June 2nd 2023 (29/5/2023 – 2/6/2023) we will convene at the Botanic Garden of Montpellier University. Our aim is to create a long standing community, and grow it over years and decades to come. Hence the format of the workshop will be a single stream of presentations with extended poster sessions so that we can all have ample time to discuss.
